Stay safe with ATMs in Amed
I’ve had my card skimmed once in the 5 years I’ve been coming to Amed. The bank caught it, before I lost any funds. Its hard ot say where / how it happened. Maybe an ATM or maybe paying by card.
I now have different cards I use for bank withdrawl and making purchases, so if I get skimmed from a purchase I can still get cash.
For access to multiple currencies, I use Revolut
I HIGHLY recommend this bank for nomads / travels / remote workers.
This allows me to avoid a lot of bank exchange fees, and I also have the metal plan for no fees on withdrawls, and investments.
It also allows me to reorder cards to my apple pay / google pay immediately! No waiting for shipping.
