I’ve been living in Amed for 7 months, and coming here since 2018. Here are where I like to take my friends to eat when visiting in Amed.

My Favourites

Amed boasts some incredible food for such a small fishing / diving village.

Galanga

Galanga is easily my favourite restaurant in Amed. Indonesian fusion by a french pastry chef and Indonesian fisherman.

Something for everyone from vegans to meat lovers. Best for lunch / dinner. One of the few places in Amed that may require a booking. Particularly June – Oct.

Try the Fish of the Day or Pumpkin Gnocchi & Creme Brulee.
