We gathered the crew.
One mission: find the best cheesecakes in Amed — and nearby.
Ten boxes. Ten forks. Too much coffee.
Enough cheesecake for a lifetime.
Here’s how it went down.
Good Stuff
Dense. Creamy. Proper biscuit base, sweet enough to ruin your next meal in the best way.
We found out that a similar test had been done last year (shout out to Fang!) and Good Stuff won that year. So we decided to use Good Stuff as the baseline. It would get a score of 10, and the rest would be compared to this with a score higher or lower depending.

Om Karma
Fluffy, but still cheese where it counts. Berry swirl feels like eating a cloud. Biscuit base with a whisper of spice — nice touch.

Cheesecake factor: 10
Solid. Not trying too hard, just good.

Rimba
Baked. Rich. Sweetness on point. Biscuit spiced like it grew up next to a Christmas cake. Jam on top says hello without ruining it.

Cheesecake factor: 10

Greenleaf
Heavy on egg. Sweet. Not enough cheese to fight back. Base is fine but doesn’t save it.

Cheesecake factor: 8

Gusto
Bit floury. Not enough cheese punch. Biscuit base? Half-baked. Better than nothing, but you’ll find better.

Cheesecake factor: 10

One Way Espresso
Lime heavy. Airy. More mousse than cheesecake. Butter biscuit base holds it together.
To be fair, this cheesecake had only just been baked and not enough time for it to set.

Gryia Matcha
Tastes like regret. Bitter matcha, no cheese joy. Raw base vibe.

Cheesecake factor: 7

Gryia Cinnamon
Cream cheese icing pretending it’s cheesecake. Icing’s nice — but the base is crunchy with sugar crystals.

Cheesecake factor: 0

Enak Pumpkin
Half pumpkin pie, half lost cheesecake. Moist — maybe too moist. Spiced well though.

Cheesecake factor: 5

Enak Dragonfruit
Not cheesecake. Not even close. Nutty sauce doesn’t save it.

One Way Brownie Cheesecake
Eggy brownie with a cheesecake hat. Bit eggy, not much cheese, not very sweet, brownie oily.
Sadly had fallen apart on the way to tasting before we could get a good photo. They promised to set a piece aside for us in the morning, then forgot so gave us a fresh piece that hadn’t had enough time to set.

The Verdict
If you want the best cheesecake in Amed — just get Good Stuff.
Then Rimba if you want it baked.
Om Karma if you want fluffy.
Eat it by the ocean. Don’t share if you don’t have to. You’re welcome.
